After almost 10 years of web design and developement, I’ve seen a lot.  I’ve gone from a Dreamweaver jockey to a hand coder of html and css. I was there for web 1.0, am here for 2.0 and expect to be a part of bringing 3.0 to the masses (and, hopefully, renaming it).

Here are a two of my more recent sites and one that’s a trip down Way Back Lane to a time when cavemen roamed… well, ok, it’s only 5 years old.

There are few things I like more than drawing natural things like wood and then placing them in unnatural settings like websites or phone apps. For Drync, I built a site based off Wordpress, did the css, images, branding and and user experience. When Apple released the Drync iphone product early, this became a rush job. WHERE

In my three years at uLocate, I presided over many iterations of WHERE.com. From a camera-phone photo sharing site to a way to manage widgets on your mobile device, I was the go-to guy for the presentation layer. CSS. HTML. PHP. Wireframing. Phone illustrations and icons. I did it all. WHERE »

The Dish

So here it is. The five-year old site – and I think it’s aging quite well. Sure, I’d likely build it differently today, but I think the overall design still looks fresh, and it runs without issue in newer browsers. It was built on a CMS system to be easily editable by the restaurant proprietors. And, did I mention it’s pretty old? Oh, right… several times. The Dish »
