I’ve been working in the mobile space for more than 3 years now.  Application that I helped to create are available on virtually every major carrier in US. My mobile user experience and design background spans phones that range from basic limited input devices like the RAZR to the touch-screen goodness of the iPhone – and everything in between.

For Drync, “my day job,” I was responsible for user flows, wires, look and feel and the branding. I even did much or the presentation layer coding, pushing the limits of webkit css. The WHERE iPhone app was an unmitigated success. It’s been downloaded a half million times and, during the launch of the app store, it was being downloaded more than 100 times a second! It was named to “What’s Good and Free in the iTunes App Store” by Lifehacker, an “Essential iPhone App” by ChannelFlip and named one of the “Ten iPhone Programs to Check Out” by Walt Mossberg. My responsibilities here were for the overall look and feel, including wireframing, product management, css, images and even defining the unique widget scroll wheel as the product’s defining feature.WHERE iPhone »

For the product the Boston Globe’s Hiawatha Bray called One of the most engaging applications for phone-based GPS. It’s called WHERE, and… it’s just about irresistible. I played no small roll. As a integral member of the team that envisioned the ground-breaking WHERE Mobile Location Enabled Widget Platform (wow, that’s a mouthful), I created the look and feel, wire framed the product as well as widgets for content partners, made iconography, and created the original WHERE logo — much of what made WHERE, WHERE.
